GK "Kirovskiy Plant"

On the 3rd of April, 1803 by the decree of Emperor Paul I the iron foundry situated on the island Kotlin was transferred to St.Petersburg. This day is considered to be the birthday of the plant. The first products of the plant were cannonballs. But already in the 19th century the plant became the multispectral enterprise with the leading position in the Russian market. Kirovskiy plant with its more than 200 years history of prosperous work has a positive prospection.

Aims of the project

  • Automation of the bookkeeping
  • Because of the reconstruction of the plant it became necessary to develop the regulations of the bookkeeping
  • Preparation of the accounting for holding
  • Realization of the pilot project on automation of the bookkeeping in the one entity CJSC "Kirov-Energomash"
  • Developing of the mass-production solution for the rest of the company’s entities

Key Results

  • Developing of the single information space, automation of the core processes: bookkeeping, taxation, cost accounting and preparation of the regulated accounting
  • The method of computation of the prime-cost for each site of the plant was developed for the sake of the management accounting. Application of this method leads to the quick gathering and analysis of the data from the subsidiaries for the sake of the centralized management accounting in the head organization of the company
  • The computation of the prime-cost of the production was automated for the whole enterprise, as well as for the each stage
  • Implementation of the developed solution for the nine entities of the holding
